Sixty-four Family and Consumer Science Educators from the seven county Hudson Valley Region met at Suffern High School for a day of Professional Development on Friday, March 22. The conference highlighted 12 workshops, a luncheon address from NYSAFCSE President, Denise Paley, and representatives from eight colleges who offer Career and Technical Education majors. Shawna Strenfel, FACSE at Suffern High School, was announced as NYSAFCSE State Teacher of the Year.
